Calypso Hawley ""Holly"" Gunn, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away October 26, 2011, at the age of 94. Holly may be best remembered for her talents in teaching music, yet she accomplished many life goals as well. Holly served honorably during World War II in the United States Navy. She had beautiful rose gardens when she lived in California. She represented her Irish heritage well. Holly earned a private pilot's license and also played tennis. She enjoyed the scenery of the mountains. Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert ""Bob"" L. Gunn; and siblings, Norman and William Hawley. Holly is survived by her loving daughter, Kathy (Sam) Sakurada; son, Brent (Linda) Navran; step-daughter, Karen Gunn; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Stephen Sakurada, Amber and Janel Navran; extended family and friends. Funeral Services honoring Holly's life will be Saturday, November 5, 2011, beginning at 11:00 AM, at Rock Creek Church, 225 Majestic Drive, in Louisville, Colorado. As a breast cancer survivor, the family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions in Holly's name be made to Susan G.
