Thornton

Cameron Clair Carson, a remarkable soul whose life touched many hearts, has peacefully departed this world. Born in Boise, Idaho, on December 2, 1959, Cameron’s journey was one of resilience, love, and unwavering faith.

Family and Legacy: Cameron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela, and their four children: Jeremy (Ashlee), Daniel (Cami), Laura, and Emily. His parents, Bill and Sharon, provided the foundation of love and guidance that shaped his character. His siblings, Drake, Marlon, and Marilyn, shared both laughter and tears with him throughout the years.

Education and Passion: Cameron’s pursuit of knowledge led him to distant shores. He served a two-year mission in Italy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he immersed himself in the culture and shared his faith with compassion. Returning home, he continued his educational journey, graduating with distinction from Harvard University, armed with a degree in computer science. His intellect and curiosity fueled his lifelong love for spreadsheets and trivia.

A Love for the Game: Cameron found solace on the basketball court. His passion for the game was unmatched. Four times a week, he’d lace up his sneakers, dribble the ball, and find joy in the rhythm of the court. His competitive spirit was tempered by sportsmanship, and he reveled in the camaraderie of fellow players.

Generations of Love: Cameron’s greatest joy came from his 13 grandkids: Toree, Brynlee, Preslee, Cash, Madee, Danee, Gracie, Harper, Preston, Ellie, Avery, Camilla and Lockett. Their laughter echoed through his home, and he relished every moment spent with them. Whether teaching them to shoot hoops or sharing bedtime stories, he poured love into their hearts.
