Carl A. Barthels

90, of Wheat Ridge, passed away on November 1, 2012. Born on September 13, 1922, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He served in The United States Navy during World War II and The Korean War, went on to join The Reserves which he retired from in 1982. He loved gardening, cooking and his dogs. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristine Barthels; parents, Lewis Barthels and Marie Blanche (Clark) Barthels; brother, Frederick Barthels. He is survived by his son, Bruce Barthels and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Joshua Barthels and his wife Angela, Brianna Barthels; great-grandchildren, Riley and Kameron Barthels; siblings, Bernice Barthels, Kenneth Barthels and Beverly Bauer. Private Interment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
