Carl Guinn Fugler

Carl G. Fugler, Lt. Col. USAF, Ret. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away February 6, 2015 at the age of 85. Carl is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gloria; sons Carl, Jr. (Pam), Mark (Jane) and Randy; and grandchildren Matthew, Jessica and Rachel. Born in Watson, LA November 26, 1929, the only son of Clarence and Vivian Fugler, Carl was a 1954 graduate of Louisiana State University. He proudly served in the US Air Force for 24 years, including tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam, retiring in 1975. He later worked Federal Civil Service at Lowry Air Force Base. Carl was a member of El Jebel Shrine, Sojourners, and was past president of the Mile High Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. Committal Service with full Air Force honors at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Friday, February 20, 12:30 PM – Staging Area B.
