Carl is survived by his wife, Betty (Brady), his wife of 61 years; children, John Pinamont of Anchorage Alaska, Mary (Bill) Adams of Greeley, Anne (Jack) Oldenburg of Everett Washington, Cathy Tari of Kirkland Washington, Theresa (Jim) Wolk of Gretna Nebraska, Jim (Joan) Pinamont; grandchildren, Barbara, Cressie, Emily, Andy, and Sarah. Carl J. Pinamont was born May 28, 1924 in Wetmore Colorado and died December 27, 2009. He graduated from Florence Colorado High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy V12 program in 1942, received his commission from Columbia University and served on the USS New York for the duration of WWII. He received an honorable discharge with the rank of Lieutenant J.G. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. degree and the University of Michigan with a M.S. degree, both in Chemical Engineering. Recitation of the Rosary will be said Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 3:00 p.m., at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (just one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 South Quebec Street, in Centennial, Colorado. Committal services will take place at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's name may be made to Catholic Charities of Denver, P.O.
