Carla Andre

Carla Jean Andre, 78, passed away peacefully at The Denver Hospice at Lowry on April 8, 2022.

Carla was born September 4, 1943 in Montrose Colorado and lived in Denver.  She retired from the medical community several years ago.  Carla was a member of The Aurora Eagles and enjoyed several years as a volunteer for the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade and volunteered her time to many other causes that were near and dear to her heart.

Survivors include Carla’s husband David Andre of Denver, CO, sister Maxine Pantano of Austin, TX, Son Doug McDonald (Catie) of Westminster, CO, Daughter Jacquie McDonald (Deborah) of Oklahoma City, OK, Step-son Paul Andre (Becky) of Denver, CO, Step-son Jeff Andre (Kelly) of Denver, CO.  Grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Justin, Matt, Cole, Jake, Jayanna, Joe, Max, and Wyatt.  Carla was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Eleanor Smith, her brother Allen Smith and her grandson Jesse McDonald.

A private viewing will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 15, 2022 at Horan & McConaty located at 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO.  Cremation to follow.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.
