Carla Marie Blackmond was born on September 27, 1986 at RAP Upper Hayford, Oxfordshire, England. She departed this early life on October 12, 2023. She was the second of eight children.
Carla Marie attended Paddington Montessori School in Banbury, England until age five when she moved to the United States. She attended elementary schools in North Carolina and Albuquerque, New Mexico. When Carla Marie finished high school at Highlands Ranch High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, she studied at CCA (Community College of Aurora). She received an associate degree in arts and a designation in American History. Carla Marie worked many years as a Community Manager before following her career, specializing in Human Resources.
Carla Marie was a hard worker and dedicated to her career. She was an excellent employee who was well loved and respected. The most rewarding and exciting position to Carla came to her recently with Pima Medical Institute as a Medical Career Specialist where she was currently employed.
Carla Marie was very adventurous and outgoing. She was the life of every event she attended. While she loved a good time, nothing gave her more joy than motherhood. Being a daughter, a grandmother, and a fabulous Aunt “CayCay” was what gave her life.
Carla Marie leaves to cherish her memory, her four sons: Jaylen Michael Isiah, Jordan Douglas Scott, and Jaxson Skye, all of Aurora, CO., and Carter James “CJ”, of Castle Rock, CO; and one granddaughter, Olivia; parents, Bryan Kenneth and Bonita Louise LaBuda, Highlands Ranch, CO; seven siblings: Laura Nichole (Josh), Aurora, CO; Charity Cristina, Boise, ID; Carl Douglas II “CJ” (Jenn), Highlands Ranch, CO; Zach Kenneth, Boise, ID; Christina Elizabeth (Duke), Aurora, CO; Christopher Cory Scott, Littleton, CO; Tyler Elijah Michale, Aurora, CO; Father, Carl Blackmond, Spring Hope, NC; God Father, Richard Lee Lewis Jr., Aurora, CO; Mentor, Michelle Konno, Albuquerque, NM; grandparents, Gladys (Ernest) Richardson, Rocky Mount, NC; Charlie (Dorothy) Battle, Nashville, NC; along with fourteen nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and co-workers.
