Carla Jo West

At the age of 62 Carla entered into eternal rest on the evening of Sunday May 22nd 2016 at Swedish Medical Center due to unknown causes. Carla was born on November 5th 1953 in Denver, Colorado where she lived all her 62 years. During this time she took pride in a lot of things. Nothing was more important to her than being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Charles and Carla West were married for 25 years. Carla took pride in all of her children Jake Litzau, Beth Veasman, C.J. West and Wendy West. Above all she loved to take care of and spoil her grandchildren Kyle Litzau, R.J. Litzau, Stephanie Olson and Simon Litzau. While employed Carla's most accomplished positions were in the phone company as a manager for Qwest and as a Union rep. for CWA. Carla has touched so many people. Friends of the family would call her mom and grandma and she loved making friends feel like family and feel like they were always welcome. She truly will be missed. Everyone will have a chance to say their final goodbyes at a memorial service at Horan & McConaty 3101 S. Wadsworth Boulevard Lakewood Colorado 80227 on Friday morning at 10:00am.
