Carol Frame passed away on July 5, 2018 in Littleton, CO. Born on July 16, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Carolyn and Edward Toll. She lived in Chicago and after graduating high school and worked at Montgomery Wards where she met her husband Richard Frame. They were married on June 7, 1981 and had two sons while in Chicago, Kevin (1/11/87) and Christopher(12/11/89).
With initial reluctance the family moved to Highlands Ranch, Colorado in February 1993. While she greatly missed her family and memories from Chicago, she learned to love Coloradoâs beauty and couldnât be convinced to live anywhere else.
In raising her two boys, she developed a passion for teaching and once they were both in school got a position as an Educational Assistant at Sand Creek Elementary. When Cougar Run Elementary opened in 1996 she continued her position there and became a fixture that helped it gain its reputation as one of the excellent schools in the community. She was instrumental in shaping the minds of countless children that had the benefit of learning from her.
She found joy in reading and discussing the endless number of books she had read with her many book clubs. She was also very adventurous and enjoyed traveling and seeing the world. Anyone that was lucky enough to know her knew that she loved to talk, and even more listen, for hours on end. She was born to be a mother and educator, and her sons owe their success to her guiding hand. She was a member of St. Lukeâs United Methodist Church and her faith was very important to her. Carol will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was the devoted wife of Richard Frame; loving mother to Kevin and Christopher Frame; beloved sister of Richard (Deborah) Toll; and aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn and Edward Toll; and brother, Edward Toll.
Relatives and friends are welcome to celebrate her life at her memorial service at 2pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Lukeâs United Methodist Church. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside, IL, at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Carol to St. Judeâs Children Hospital, St. Lukeâs United Methodist Church, or another charity of your choice.
