Carol Jean George, of Castle Rock CO, died in her home at the age of 71. Her family was by her side every day leading up to her ""graduation into Heaven"". She was born in Klamath Falls OR. Years later her family moved to Torrance CA, where she met her high school sweetheart. After attending Cal State Long Beach together, they married and had three beautiful children. In 1982, they moved to Colorado until the end of her life. Carol is survived by Dan, her loving husband of 49 years, daughters Debbie (Pruit) and Chelle, their son Danny, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Everybody loved her caring and friendly nature. She especially loved her children and their families. As a home economist, she could prepare and serve anything with style and perfection. She was the perfect mother. Carol loved her Lord, and reflected His love and spirit to everyone. She and her husband were inseparable. They together sang in church choirs for over 50 years. Beyond her love of music and family, she loved traveling and cruising, and enjoyed her endless times birdwatching with her husband. She also was a certified diver, and explored God's creation and beauty under the waters of the Caribbean. For 13 years she worked for the Town of Castle Rock, and was a friend of everyone. Carol cared for others with warmth and sincerity, spreading her infectious smile to all. Carol was preceded in death by her father Glen D Waggoner, mother Helen E Fredrickson, and stepfather Carl A Fredrickson.
