Carol Joyce (Inman) Jacques

Carol Joyce (Inman) Jacques was born January 15, 1934 in Iowa and passed away, surrounded by the love of her family, on June 30, 2023. She was 89.

Born to Harold and Frances Inman, Carol was the second of six children. After graduating from Johnston High, she chose to attend Nurses Training at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines. She fulfilled her calling as a nurse in many locations and retired at Littleton Adventist after a total of 50 years of service. Her kind spirit and huge heart touched an innumerable amount of people.

Shortly before retirement, Carol reconnected with long-time friend, Jean, after both being widowed. They created a beautiful new beginning and were married for just one-day-shy of 19 years. Together, they went on many trips and cruises, enjoyed older adult activity camps in Grand Lake, skiing in the mountains, staying at their condo in Winter Park, going to car shows, visiting numerous restaurants, and enjoying a glass of wine. Carol took great delight in family gatherings. Celebrating the ones she loved and spending quality time brought her so much joy. 

Carol was predeceased by her parents Harold and Frances; sisters Shirley and Lelah; brother Kirk; son Steve. She is survived by her husband Jean; daughters Paula (Ron), and Sadika; granddaughters Stephanie and Rozlyn (David); grandson Kameron; sister Juanita (Ralph); brother Jack (Rose); numerous nieces, nephews and their families; her beloved Maine Coon, Frankie. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Collier Hospice Center at 3210 N. Lutheran Parkway  Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 or to a charity of your choice. Local service to be determined. Private family interment in Iowa at a later date.
