Carol Ann Krause

Carol Ann (Schottman) Krause, was born on June 30, 1936, in Centralia, Illinois, and died peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ella and Mel Schottman, and by her beloved son, Kurt. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Krause, her son Kent Krause, her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Kip Robinson and by three treasured grandchildren, John (Kara), Will and Annie.

Her great loves were her family and her Risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Carol was a nurse by profession and she was the epitome of compassionate and professional care for her patients, kind to all. Carol served for many years as a Stephen Minister and counted it an honor to be present with people in their moments of pain and suffering. Anyone who knew Carol was taken with her genuine kindness and gentle spirit. She was truly the best of us and we will miss her dearly.

Memorial service: Friday, April 18, 10am, at St John’s Lutheran Church, 700 S Franklin St., Denver CO.
