Carol Colleen Rahm

Carol Colleen Rosberg Rahm was born on December 16, 1930 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She passed away on September 23, 2011 in Lakewood, Colorado. Carol grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She moved to Avon, South Dakota where she went to high school. She always bragged about being in a class of 28 students! Carol stayed in South Dakota and worked at WNAX Radio in Yankton and Brown Drug in Sioux Falls. Her job at Banker's Life in Sioux Falls found her transferred to their office in Denver, Colorado. She met her husband, Ken, in the choir at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. They were married on August 18, 1956. They had three daughters; Karen Ann, Kathleen Joanne, and Kristen Lee. Carol worked for H&R Block for 27 years. She retired in 1993 and loved to travel, do volunteer work, tend to her irises, spend time with church friends and be involved in clubs. She was blessed with two grandchildren; Jonathan Michael and Lynette Elise. She was preceded in death by her parents Eldon Rosberg and Juliet Irene Rogness Braa; brother Robert W. Rosberg; and daughter Karen Ann Helberg. Memorial Service Thursday, September 29, at 1:00pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood.
