Carol Spackman

Carol Wiser Spackman passed peacefully away at her home in Brighton, Colorado on July 22, 2023. She was born July 11, 1931, in Lewiston, Utah to Carl William Wiser and Zona Blair Wiser. She married her high school sweetheart, Dallan B. Spackman on February 9, 1951.

Carol graduated from North Cache High School and the LDS Seminary at Richmond, Utah in 1949. She lived in Lewiston, Smithfield, Roy, and St. George, all in Utah. The last 10 years she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Dallene and Monte in Brighton, Colorado. Carol was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully and honorably in many church callings throughout her life.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Dallene (Monte Hillyard), Zona (Jerry Workman) Sydney Spackman; and a grandson, Stallone Spackman, whom they raised in their home. Others include 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dallan, parents, sister, Faye Hyde and brother, Richard Wiser.

A Funeral service for Carol will be held at 11:00am, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Allan Hall Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan, Utah, with a viewing prior from 10-10:45am. A graveside service will be immediately after her service at the Smithfield Cemetery, 46 S. 300 E. in Smithfield, Utah.
