Carolyn Lucy Ring

Carolyn Lucy Ring née Zoeller, 83, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023. She leaves behind four children: Jeremiah, Joachim (Kristine), Timothy, and Kathleen (Derick) Josey; grandchildren: Ryen, Matthew, Kira, Christina, and Xavier; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Carolyn was born in Topeka, KS to Walter and Louise Zoeller and was raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Longwood Academy in Chicago and graduated from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, IL with a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing.

Carolyn married Jeremiah (Jerry) Ring on April 24, 1965, in Chicago, IL. After raising her children, she established a career as a rehabilitation and hospice nurse. Her hobbies included gardening, travel, visiting art museums and attending the theater. Carolyn was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Littleton, Colorado.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 30th, at 10:30am at St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. A visitation will take place prior at 9:30am.
