Carolyn P. Todhunter

Passed away December 31, 2009. She is survived by her children, Scott Haley, Dana Haley, Alison Haley Short and Bret Haley; five step-children, Stephen Todhunter, Richard Todhunter, Jack Todhunter, Michael Todhunter and Lynn Todhunter McLaury and sixteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon (Tod)Robert Todhunter. She was born November 8, 1932 in West Hartford, CT. She attended Smith College, graduated from University of Vermont and earned two Master Degrees from the University of Connecticut. She was a librarian by profession and retired as the Director of the McCook, NE Public Library. Carolyn studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, France and attended the University of Florence in Italy. She was well loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held 4PM, Saturday, January, 9, 2010 at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO. Her remains will be buried next to her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, Ok. To reflect Carolyn's great love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League in lieu of flowers.
