Carrie Peters

January 22, 1962 — October 28, 2009

Carrie Peters was born January 22, 1962 in Waverly, MO. She couldn't wait to be born, and shot out without the doctor ever scrubbing up. She passed peacefully on October 28, 2009 into the loving arms of her children, Flawna, Johnnathon and Salym, who preceded her in death. She earned a Nursing Degree in 1992 at Columbia College Mo.; while she raised 3 children on her own. Most of Carrie's life was lived in the state of Colorado around the Denver Metro area. She attended school in the Adams County area, dropped out and later got her GED. She married Joseph M. Anzick and had two beautiful children, Salym and Johnnathon. But the marriage was not to be. Both people held great affection for each other. She later got into contact with another son Cory Crouse who was adopted to another family at an earlier age. Recently Carrie was attending Metro State College for her Master's with the intention of helping people with drug addictions from which she herself beat. Carrie was member of Delta Alpha Pi. She loved to help the elderly, cleaning houses and dog sitting. Some of her favorite things to do was bowling, (which she had to quit when her M.S. got the best of her) playing on Facebook, and sending emails to family and loved ones. Fishing was one of her favorite sports, and she wouldn't quit even if the fish weren't biting. Carrie had a vibrant personality, she'd come through the door like 'Here I am and the party can begin'. She was a 'Take Charge' person, nothing got past her. You couldn't win an argument, she won. Motorcycles were her thing, and she always went along for a ride. She is survived by Dad and Mom Peters, Mom Branson, Brother Marshall Peters, Son Garrett, Sister Cristine Peters and husband Tracy Read with children Travis and Tristin. Also survived by numerous family members and loved ones. Carrie's motto was Luvin'Livin' Life!! =0) There are no services, but loving memories.
