Catherine M. Jones

Catherine ""Cathy"" Marie Jones, passed away on May 15, 2013 in the loving arms of her family. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Randall R. Jones of forty-three years of marriage, children Sandra Kay Jones-Miller, Janet Marie Jones and Ryan Ray Jones; son-in-law Justin Leon Miller, mother Alice Lucille Johnson; sister Ramona Vigil; and brother Stephen Kent Travis. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Willard Travis; sister Rebecca Anne Shoop; brother Thomas Wayne Travis. Catherine was born in Brush, CO and raised in Fort Morgan, CO. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1965. Cathy met Randy in 1969 in Ogallala, NE. On February 21, 1970 Randy and Cathy were married in Grant, NE. Cathy devoted her life to raising children, homemaker, volunteering at schools, and being a friend to many. Cathy enjoyed the great outdoors, she embraced all Colorado had to offer, especially, camping, four-wheeling, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, 2:00 PM at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada Colorado 80003. A Reception will be held following the Service.
