Cecil Robert Hurst

C. R. (Bob) Hurst, age 90, of Denver and formerly of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away June 24, 2013 in Denver. Bob was born in Achilles, Kansas on November 1, 1922 to Cecil R. Hurst and Gladys (Cooke) Hurst. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lottie; step daughters Barbara Munster & Debbie Holton; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sister Lorna Davis. He was preceded in death by his children Bobby Jo Hurst and Rosemary Lovell. Bob was a prisoner of war and recipient of the purple heart. He was an agent with New York Life for over 40 years. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:30 in the morning at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. (at Parker Rd.) in Aurora with burial following at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to a charity of choice.
