Cecil W. ""Monty"" Sexton, Jr.

Cecil W. ""Monty"" Sexton, Jr. 87, former resident of Arvada passed away April 6, 2013 in North Augusta, South Carolina. Mr. Sexton was a native of Ekalaka, Montana and had been living in North Augusta for the past ten years. Monty was retired from the State of Colorado and was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Sexton is survived by his wife Mary Senn Sexton; children Pat Sexton and his wife Karen of Westminster, CO, Mike Sexton and his wife Becky of Arkansas, Tim Sexton and his wife Kathy of Denver, CO, Debra Heer and her husband Darrel of Arvada, CO and Katie Poirier and her husband Ron Long of Mesa, Arizona. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. He was preceded in death by his first wife Norma (Schlecht) Sexton and five of his children, Sandra Heese, Mark Sexton, John Sexton, Cecilia Miller and Matthew Sexton. Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 12PM followed by the Funeral Service at 1PM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue in Arvada. Interment will follow at Arvada Cemetery.
