Chad L. Brownhill

Chad Louis Brownhill passed away July 28, 2014. He is survived by his wife Joanne; and siblings Lynn (Kenneth) Bertel, Marcy Teichman, Kent (Diane) Brownhill, Diane (Bruce) MacAllister and Barry (Melanie) Brownhill. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 1:00 PM, at Lord of the Hills Lutheran Church located at 21755 East Smoky Hill Road, Centennial, CO. Chad was born in Portland, OR. His family moved to Pittsburgh, PA where he attended Canevin High School. In Portland and Pittsburgh, Chad was active in Boy Scouts. He was an Eagle Scout and his favorite adventure was rock climbing. After graduating from Canevin, Chad attended Ohio State University. He was active with the OSU Mountaineering Club. He earned a Bachelors in Computer Science. Later Chad earned his Master's in Business from University of Northern Colorado. After graduating from OSU he moved to Denver, CO to be near the mountains. As an avid outdoorsman, Chad enjoyed the outdoor sports including skiing, fly fishing, and hiking. Chad climbed many of the 14ers in Colorado. In 1978 he climbed Mt. McKinley with the OSU Mountaineering Club. Recently Chad gained two more passions – marksmanship/hunting and poker. A Memorial Service to honor Chad will be Saturday, August 9, 1:00 PM, at Lord of the Hills Lutheran Church, 21755 E Smoky Hill Rd, Centennial, CO.
