Charles Cardillo, Jr., 76, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor, of Centennial, CO, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2020.
A native of New England, Charles loved all things Boston: the ocean, the Red Sox, the history, steamed clams, the Cape, and the beaches. Another life-long love of Charlie’s was politics. He enjoyed reading books on American political history and the American political system—and debating all aspects of both. His biggest loves, however, were his grandchildren. He especially loved holding them when they were babies and kissing their little cheeks.
Charles is survived by his son, Matthew; his daughter, Kristen; his daughter-in-law, Serina; his three grandchildren: Jisele, Aidan, and Lara; his sister, Janis; his brothers-in-law, Otto and Kevin; his sisters-in-law: Karen, Beth, and Kate; and his nephews and nieces: Abigail, Sophia, Hunter, Timothy, Shelly, Robert Jr., Cheryl, William, Michael, Daniel, Marybeth, Jamie, Gregory, Douglas, Todd, and Peter Jr.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel, his parents, Charles Sr. and Mary; his father- and mother-in-law, Carl and Ruby; his sister, Joan; five brothers-in-law: Wilson, Carl Jr., Robert, Samuel, and John; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Carolyn; and his niece, Robin.
