Charles (Chuck) Francis Conaway, 64, passed away Feb. 26, 2005, in Aurora, Colorado. Chuck was born January 14, 1941, in Barstow, California to Raymond Lavern Conaway and Rosalee Joan Frankovich Conaway. Chuck married Marian Magella Pepper, (native of Dundalk Co. Louth, Ireland) on January 11, 1992 in Denver, and again on May 1, 1992 in Ireland. A veteran of Vietnam and a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Chuck sold Insurance for many years and then worked for Kroger Foods as a Facility Engineering Coordinator. Chuck loved to cook and was an avid reader. He enjoyed the outdoors and working in his garden, having just planted four new trees this past year, one in his yard, the others in the greenbelt. He loved cycling, hiking, and cross-country skiing with his wife and son. Chuck also enjoyed travelling and visiting gourmet restaurants. A dream of his was to build an utltralight airplane. Chuck was loved by many family and friends and will be sadly missed following his courageous fight with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Marian Magella Pepper; and son, James Conaway, of Aurora; daughters, Terri Mathers, Walnut Creek, California; and Anne Conaway, of Sedalia, Colorado. Also survived by his two grandchildren, Alex and Georgia. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 12th, at 11:00 am, at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 South Monaco Parkway, in Denver. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Monday, March 14th, 11:00 am, Staging Area "B". In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck's name to The Diana Price Fish Foundation, P.O.
