Charles Frank Cordova

Charles Cordova passed away on Sunday February 9, 2014 at the young age of 53. He was born on October 7, 1960 in Denver Colorado. He attended Abraham Lincoln High School, then at age 19, he joined the United States Navy, and served on the Nimitz-class, CVN-69, Dwight D. Eisenhower Supercarrier, based out of Norfolk, VA. Everyone he came in contact with loved Charles. He always took the time to talk and get to know someone new, including the homeless. He had a soft spot in his heart for children, and was always very generous and helpful, putting his own needs last. Charles left a loving imprint on his family and many others for generations to come. Charles is survived by his parents Sam and Dorothy Cordova, his brothers: Louie, Leroy, Ray (Mercy), sister Lorraine (Mark), his son Charles Jr., Granddaughters Vivianna and Santina, Nieces Petra and Alexis, Nephews Raymond, Joseph, and Joshua. Pallbearers are: Raymond Cordova, Joseph Cordova, Joshua Manzanares, Lee Martinez, Mark Silva, and Mike Molina. Honorary Pallbearer: Joe H. Duran. Rosary 10:00 AM, Funeral Mass 10:30 AM, Notre Dame Catholic Church, on Tuesday February 18, 2014. 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO. Viewing one hour prior to service.
