Charles "Chuck" Larson, age 84, peacefully passed away at his home in Aurora, Colorado on January 5, 2023. Chuck was born on July 20, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois to Sigurd and Lucille Larson. After attending Mt. Carmel High School and Quincy College in Illinois, he went on to work in management at Hartford Insurance for 35 years, which is what brought him to Colorado. Once retired, Chuck stayed busy working in computer consulting and in the travel/cruise industry. His interests included gardening, model trains, traveling, taking car rides to the beautiful Colorado mountains, doing crossword puzzles, and learning about the latest and greatest technological gadgets.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 60 years, Christine, his daughter, Karie Watt, his son-in-law, Rick Watt, the apples of his eye - his two grandchildren, Connor, and Lindsey Watt (who both called him "Baba"), and many wonderful nieces and nephews. His parents, his sister, Nancy Hilden and his son, Craig Larson, preceded him in death.
Chuck was fun-loving, sarcastic, and known for his sense of humor. He was a dog lover to a fault and always had treats in his pocket with hopes of running into his grandpup or one of his many four-legged friends at Heather Gardens. To keep his love of dogs alive, donations may be made in his memory to the Colorado Pet Pantry (https://www.coloradopetpantry.org/donate). Chuck will be incredibly missed.
A small celebration of life and family burial are being planned for Spring of 2023.
