Charles W. McCain

Charles McCain was born on December 11, 1935 in Denver, Colorado. He peacefully passed away on January 10, 2020 in Westminster, Colorado.

He was a North High graduate and joined the Navy after high school. He married his high school sweet heart Diana in 1955. They were stationed in Nevada where he started his career in meteorology.

After the Navy they moved to Casper, Wyoming where he started with the National Weather Service. In Wyoming they started their family; Philip, Jennifer and Christopher.

They moved back to Colorado in 1972 and have been in Westminster ever since. He retired from the national Weather Service in 1990 where he was able to enjoy many years with his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother and sister.

He and Diana have been reunited after 14 long years. They will forever be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W. 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003. He will be laid to rest with his wife, Diana, at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
