Charles E. McDermed

Charles E. McDermed, 77, passed away 22 Aug 2006, in Commerce City, Colorado. He was born 18 January 1929, in Walnut, Kansas, a son of Virgil E. and Letha Oldham McDermed. He is survived by his children: daughters, Kristie Mills (Aurora, CO) and Carol Hyatt (Weld County); son, David McDermed (Peoria, AZ); step-sons, Dennis and Steve Kershman (both of Bennett, CO); 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold McDermed (Warrensburg, MO) and Paul McDermed (Ft. Scott, KS); sisters, Bonnie Prideaux and Margaret Nelson (both Girard, KS). Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Haupt-McDermed and a brother, Floyd McDermed. A Memorial service for Charles will be held on Wednesday, 30 August 2006, at 10:00am, Our Savior Lutheran Church, 6770 Monaco St, Commerce City. Burial will be immediately following the service at the Highland Cemetery in Thornton.
