Charles Bernard Olson

Charles “Chuck” Olson, longtime resident of Evergreen, passed away February 23, 2018 at age 82. He graduated from Colorado University as an Architectural Engineer and spent his career working for the Federal Government in numerous different agencies. Following his retirement in 1985, he consulted with engineering and design firms. Chuck was very active in a genealogy group in Evergreen. He is survived by his wife Shirley Olson, children Ray (Gloria) Olson, Steve Olson, Andy (Ruth) Olson, Dave (Robin) Olson and Mikael Olson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennie Olson, Jacob Olson, Willy Olson and Nelly Olson, and his sister Gertrude Van Natter. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 4291 Evergreen Parkway, Evergreen, Colorado 80439. Donations in Chuck's memory can be made to Samaritan House Homeless Shelter--Catholic Charities, 2301 Lawrence Street, Denver, Colorado 80205.
