Chuck, 90, of Westminster, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011. Survived by his wife Randy; children Lonnie (Linda) Parker, Chuck Parker Jr., Steve Wilson, Bruce Wilson and Kristi (Mark) Parker; grandfather & great grandfather of many. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Ruby Parker; Siblings Lawrence Parker, Gene Parker and Eunice Parker. Chuck's mother passed away from Ovarian Cancer when Chuck was only 14 years old. A neighbor once told Chuck that Ruby called him 'her right hand man.' In 1937 at 16 years old he quit school and went to work in a CCCCamp and sent $25 per month home to his dad and kept $5 of his $30 earnings. He never went back to school and always worked. He was a forman in shipping and receiving at Continental Can Co. before he went into the Navy where he worked up to 2nd class petty officer. After the Navy, he started his own construction company, left for 7 years where he had Chuck Parker Reality and then went back to construction. Of all the different industries he has worked in his favorite business ever was the antique business he had with his wife, Randy. 'It was fun and the customers were always great.' Interment will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:15 AM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Pavilion ""C"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton.
