Charles Martin Perry

Chuck Perry, 85, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2007. Chuck was born August 19, 1922, in Brookville Pennsylvania, a son of Charles P. and Evelyn Baumgardner Perry. He moved to Colorado in 1942 to serve in the Army Air Corp and returned to Denver after WWII to graduate from the University of Denver in 1949. Chuck worked at the Air Force Reserve Personnel Center until his retirement. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Catherine; three children, Chuck Perry, Denver, CO; Dave Perry, Aurora, CO; and Janet Specht, Aurora, CO. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Dan Perry, Katie Perry, Jeff Lovelace, and Ken Lovelace, Aurora, CO; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Annie Perry. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Daniel Perry and sister, Carol Bauer. Funeral Service, on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at 12:30pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Denver Hospice, National Wildlife Federation or a Charity of choice.
