Charles Edwin Popham

Charles Edwin Popham Charles E. Popham, Captain, US Army Retired, passed away February 7, 2005, at the age of 89. Charles was born April 2, 1915 in Murray, Iowa, to Ruby Johnson and Edwin Popham. Charles married Lucille W. Popham, October 1, 1941, at the J.C. Penney on Broadway in Denver, where the couple first met. He served in the Air Force and Army, enlisting on October 18, 1941 and retired after 23 years of service. He was a 3rd degree Mason, active with Masonic Lodge #87. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Feb 16th, 11am, in the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 S. Parker Rd, Aurora. The viewing will begin at 10 am, on the same day. Interment, Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
