Charles ""Charlie"" Robert Sloan

Charles “Charlie” Robert Sloan of Northglenn, Colorado, passed away on December 3, 2019. He was born in Stafford County, Stafford, Kansas on May 2, 1928 to Charles and Elizabeth (Hatzenbuhler) Sloan.

He spent most of his lifetime in the trucking and freight industry and loved donating his time to his beloved Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Northglenn and was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Margaret Forbes, Loretta Howell and Delphine Turner; and wives, Lila Rohr Sloan Lessor, Esther Sloan and Beatrice Martinez. He is survived by his children, Eugene Sloan and Jacqueline Hall (husband Sterling); 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, December 9, 2019 from 5-6pm followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 10am. All services will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn. Interment to follow Funeral Mass at 1:00pm at Crown Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charlie’s honor to Immaculate Heart of Mary Food Bank, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, Colorado 80233.
