Charles Richard (Dick) Webster, 70 of Denver, Colorado passed away at home December 28, 2015. Dick was born January 23, 1945 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Charles & Clyda Webster. He is predeceased by his parents and survived by his wife, Lynn; son Stuart; two sisters Sharon (Greg) Oakley of Georgetown, Texas and Charla (Harry) Farmer of Ft. Collins, CO. Also survived by his niece & nephew Adrienne Kidder and Bart Farmer and great nieces & nephews. Dick went to Harmony Grade School, Ft. Collins High School and graduated from C.S.U. He married Lynn Taylor in 1979 and they have a son Stuart. Dick grew up on a farm in Ft. Collins. There his love of hunting and fishing continued throughout his life. He loved the outdoors, fly fishing in Alaska, hiking, camping, skiing, pheasant & duck hunting. He trained his 1st black hunting lab and over the years each of his dogs trained the next dog. He supported Pheasants Forever which focuses on conservation, preservation & education. He joined the Modern Plastics Company (Countertop fabricator & Corian distributer in CO & Wyoming ) with Ole Ebbesen in Englewood and eventually owned the company. He served as president of Decorative Laminate Products Association from 1984-85. After retiring he & Randy Vlaanderen founded Legacy a solid surface counter top business in Winsor. Dick kept us entertained with his adventure stories such as getting lost in a whiteout in the Mountains because he was watching deer to the point of forgetting to shoot. Dick his wife Lynn & son Stuart share a love of the outdoors and have had wonderful family trips to Alaska, our national parks, his cousin's ranch in a cattle roundup and Europe & Australia. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday January 6th, 10:30 AM at the Wellshire Inn; 3333 So. Colorado Blvd. A lunch reception follows.
