Charles ""Chuck"" Williams

Charles ""Chuck"" Williams, 82, of Lakewood, passed away on June 26, 2014. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 3, at 10:30 am at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel at 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. Chuck is survived by his wife Phyllis, three children, Teri (Larry) Chadwell, Brad (Tammie) Williams, and Tracy (Brendan) Curran. Grandfather of Daniel and Tania Chadwell, Joshua and Torie Williams, and Zachary and Emily Curran. Chuck was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma; baptized in the First Christian Church of Tulsa at a young age. He was a faithful member of the Christian community for his entire life. Chuck loved sports - active in bowling, curling, tennis, golf, baseball and basketball - inactive in front of the TV with watching OU football and the Denver Broncos. Family picnics, cook-out breakfasts and hiking in the mountains were his delight. Chuck was an oil & gas geologist which led him to various parts of the States and Canada, including - Farmington NM, Pecos TX, and Calgary, Alberta, Canada; finally arriving in Denver to settle permanently. Chuck spent his last 3-1/2 years in Mapleton Care Center. Quite suddenly, he had a massive stroke on June 22, 2014, which left him unable to speak and respond to commands. After five days in St. Anthony's Hospital, Chuck went to his Lord and Saviour after 82-1/2 years. Please share your memories of Chuck and condolences with his family by signing the guestbook below.
