Charles Thomas Fote, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, successful corporate executive, humble leader and philanthropist died suddenly on November 15, 2023, at the age of 74. Surrounded by his wife and three children, Charlie peacefully entered the gates of heaven.
Charlie was born January 12, 1949, in Hartford, CT to Joseph and Rita (Sposito) Fote. Charlie had an accomplished career with First Data Corporation leading him to entrepreneurship and global philanthropy. Charlie was well loved in the community making everyone he encountered feel like family.
He is survived by his wife, Kaye Lynn; children, Charlie (Kristine) Fote Jr., Justin (Leah) Fote, Kristi (Sean) Adams; fourteen grandchildren; brothers, John (Lorraine) Fote, Donald Fote, Michael (Sharon) Fote; sister, Diane Payne; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen Haraburda, and brother, Joseph John Fote Jr.
Family and friends impacted by the life of Charlie are invited to a celebration of life on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, 10150 E Belleview Ave., Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Viewing from 9:00 to 10:00am. Service at 10:30am. Reception immediately following at Cherry Hills Country Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to causes close to Charlie's heart: Jeremiah’s Hope Denver (cmmcjh.org) or Urban Youth Ministries (uyministries.org), continuing his legacy of giving and support for the community he so dearly loved.
