Charlotte Ann Schroeder Estlow was born in San Diego, California, November 9, 1923, the daughter of Franklin Otto Schroeder and Louise Sinclair Schroeder. She was one of four daughters: Mary Allen, Betty Gossen, and Frances Rake. Charlotte went to grade school in Belaire, California, high school in Chatsworth, Calif. and matriculated to the University of Denver in 1941 where she met and married Ed Estlow. She was a wonderful mother. Charlotte graduated magna cum laude from Xavier University in Ohio. She was an admired, creative, motivational, thoughtful leader in Campfire Girls, League of Women Voters, University of Denver Women's Library Association, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, and P.E.O. Charlotte resided at Holly Creek in Centennial, Colorado was a member of the University Park United Methodist Church in Denver.
