Charlotte Gepford

Charlotte Marie Gepford was born on Sept. 26, 1923 to Ethel D. and John R. Jenkinson in Hastings, NE. She passed to her eternal home on Dec. 9, 2013. She was 90 years old at her passing. Charlotte married Brooke E. Gepford of Atlanta, NE on Sept. 2, 1944 in Norton, KS. To this union were born two children, Karen Sue and Gary Brooke. In addition to her two children Charlotte is survived by a daughter-in-law, Elaine Kay Ursdevenicz-Gepford of Herndon, VA., and son-in-law Alan Edward Greenhalgh of Littleton, CO; three grandchildren, Ian Brooke Greenhalgh of Littleton, CO, Stephanie Brooke Gepford of Falls Church, VA, Katherine Anne-Gepford-Eichin and husband, Derek Eichin of Springfield, VA. Charlotte had been living in Colorado for the past twenty-two years. She lived a long life, enjoyed the Colorado mountains, and reminisced about her earlier days in Nebraska, her beloved farmland home and friends in Phelps County. She will be sincerely missed by her family, friends and caretakers in Colorado. ""We never lose the ones we love, for even though they're gone, within the hearts of those who care, their memory lingers on."" Charlotte's family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the doctors, nurses, chaplain, caretakers, and friends at the Sky Ridge Medical Center of Douglas County, The Sterling House of Littleton, and the Clare Bridge Memory Care Center of Highlands Ranch. Your kind deeds will always be remembered. A Graveside Ceremony will take place in late Spring/early Summer of 2014.
