Charlotte Jane Petersen

Charlotte Jane Petersen, 83, passed away April 1, 2010, in Lakewood, Colorado. She was born October 5, 1926, in Flagstaff, Arizona to John Gordon Hunter and Jessie Kaziah Hollingsworth Hunter. Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband, Mervin S. Petersen, children, Patricia York, Susan (Fred) Taylor, Karen (Daniel) Smith-Holub, Lee M. (Linda) Petersen and Denise (Mark) Wood; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Helen Covey and Jack Hunter. The funeral service for Charlotte will be held on Monday, April 5th, 10:00am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 610 Coors Street, Lakewood, Colorado. A visitation will be held at the Church from 9:00-9:45am. The burial will be held on Tuesday, April 6th, 11:15am, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd, Denver. Family and friends will gather in Staging area ""C"" at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made in Charlotte's name to Lutheran Hospice, 3964 Youngfield, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
