Chiquita Ann Drake

Chiquita Ann Drake passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born in Tennessee and spent most of her life in Colorado but her roots never died, she was a southern lady till the end. She is survived by her three children: Tasia Renee Drake-Newbury, Travis Wayne Smith and Chad Drake Smith. Her six grandchildren: Sara Ann Smith, Rachel Lynn Anderson, Nicole Erika Hendrix, Emily UnBe Smith, Drake Robert Smith, Coral Ruth Smith. And her great grandchildren: Thea Holly Anderson and Taylor Rayann Barry. She was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Friend. She was a super fun, loving woman who loved to travel. She never met a stranger and loved to talk about everything. Chiquita Ann was a go getter. She always worked hard and did what needed to be done. Her husband George always said she was strong and smart. Chiquita was a very up front person who was always wearing her heart on her sleeve. She called it like she saw it. Chiquita Ann was the master mind and planner of all parties, get togethers and outings. Her children and grandchildren often sought advice on many of life's problems.
