Chris Robinson was born February 23, 1987, in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Regis Jesuit High School in 2005 with highest honors. At the University of Colorado in Boulder, Chris studied molecular biology. Due to his outstanding g.p.a. and charismatic personality, Chris was employed at the University as a chemistry lab assistant, tutoring the recitation classes for Chemistry 2. Chris was a passionate and accomplished mogul skier. He carried this zealousness to become an avid bicyclist. Friends were important to Chris, almost as important as Chris was to them. People were drawn to him, enjoying his easy-going manner while hanging out in Boulder. If tickets were to be had, only being snowed out would keep Chris from a Colorado Rockies game. Chris was diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma in his left leg on January 3, 2006. His determination, optimism and unwillingness to capitulate to the disease brought him successfully through eleven rounds of chemotherapy. His unrivaled courage and strength throughout his fight with cancer comforted everyone who loved him. Whenever fate allowed, Chris steered his own life's course. This fortitude and conviction put him in the for-front of cutting edge treatments and technology. Success was the only acceptable option for Chris. Even though Chris did not survive, his triumph will come in the on going battle against cancer; from the discoveries that will be made from the information his body will provide, helping those who fight this cancer now in the future. Chris will always be loved by so many, he will be missed, and we will always carry him in our hearts and in our humor. Chris was one of a kind and the lessons he taught us will never be forgotten.
