Chris Walter Wayne

Chris was born in Riverton, Wyoming on June 26, 1937 to the late Doris and Homer Blomberg. Throughout his lifetime he lived in various cities in Colorado. He was no stranger to work, in his younger years he did everything from selling newspaper, working in sawmills to driving school buses. His career, Hertz Rent-a-Car, where he was a salesman and manager is the job he retired from. He was married to the love of his life, Joan Pollard Wayne for 54 years before she preceded him in death in 2015. Chris had many passions, he so loved his country, cars and music, if you were one of the lucky ones to hear him sing you knew you were blesses. Heaven welcomed one more angel on June 17, 2018. Chris is survived by 3 sisters, Marilyn Hilzer of Platteville, CO, Patsy Watt of Riverton, Wyoming and Carol Lynch of Riverton, Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton.
