Christa Erna Horne

Christa Horne passed away in Arvada, Colorado on December 16, 2023 at the age of 80 following a struggle with Alzheimer’s. 

Christa was born in Herten, Germany and lived a fulfilling life of strength and spirit as a grandmother, mother, wife, sister, and friend. She had a long career as an accountant and financial planner and enjoyed extensive travel with friends after retirement. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert. She is survived by her children Pamela (Buddie) and Brandon (Stefanie), and grandchildren Connor, Alana, Bella, Nolan, and Chance.

At her direction there will be no funeral, and Christa will be interred with her husband at the Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date. 

Those wishing to honor her life can lift a glass of fine wine or champagne and remember their time spent with her. In lieu of that, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
