Christi Ann Russo

Christi Ann Russo was born November 12, 1957, in Mitchell, SD, and passed away suddenly at home on October 27, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Christi grew up in South Dakota and through her ventures, made Colorado her home for more than 30 years. Christi was united in marriage to Louie Russo on December 30, 1987, in Sioux Falls , South Dakota. At the time of her passing, Christi was employed by Centura. Christi had a love for gardening and took great pride in her home and yard. Christi spent hours on her back porch enjoying the flowers and playing with her dog Oscar. Christi was very talented in arts and crafts. She had a knack for changing junk into treasures. Christi is survived by a brother, Dave (Anita) Schnabel of Sioux Falls, SD; and 2 Sisters, Linda Schnabel, of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jackie (Jim) Rucks, of Rice, Minnesota; and by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Inez Schnabel; and brothers, Robert and Mike. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 S. Parker Road, Aurora, CO 80014. Graveside rites will be held at 10am on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, Grace Hill Cemetery in Tripp, South Dakota. Please share online condolences with Christi's family by signing the guestbook below.
