Christina Mills

Christina M. Mills, 86, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on February, 26, 2022, at home.

Christina was born in London, England. Her youth was spent in the countryside of Bradfield. She attended nursing school in England. She met and married an American serviceman, Gerald G. Jung. Together they had three daughters; Toni Jung-Brack (Mike), Lakewood, Colorado, Teri Voloshin (Mike), Westminster, Colorado, and Janeen Todd, (Greg), Lakewood, Colorado. Christina enjoyed her five grandchildren and six great grandchildren immensely. There were many travels far and wide during the first decades of married life.

Christina later married Harry E. Mills, and together they enjoyed road trips across the west. She shared her compassionate nursing skills in various healthcare settings. She retired from Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Denver, Colorado nearly twenty years ago. Christina’s favorite activities were flower gardening, especially roses, and relaxing walks with her beloved dogs.  She was expert at making a house a home, and always had a kettle of tea piping hot.

Her strength, wisdom and wit, and unconditional love will be forever treasured!

An intimate memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12th, at 4:00 pm, at Atonement Lutheran Church, 6281 W. Yale Ave., Lakewood, Colorado 80227.
