Christine Marie Dent

Christine Marie Dent, age 58, passed away on July 2, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on October 13, 1964 to Roy and Deanna Dent in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in the Denver area and graduated from Alameda High School.

Christie served in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm. She later worked for Reed Ambulance and the Denver Water Department. Christie loved to play sports. She was a diver and played soccer, baseball, and softball. She organized a family reunion and helped to organize a convention for the Huntingtons Disease Society of America. Christie had a lifelong love of nature and animals. She enjoyed horseback riding and she had several dogs, cats, and birds during her life and often adopted stray animals.

Christie is survived by her sister Carrie Lux, brothers Steven Dent and Greg Dent, and nephews and nieces Shawn Lux, AJ Lux, Alaina Dent, Joshua Dent, Taylor Castillo, and Carol Ann Lane.

A memorial service will be held for Christie at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 3 at Horan and McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, Colorado. Internment will be at 1:15 pm on August 3 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave, Denver, Colorado.
