Christine Morelli

Christine Linda Morelli, age 71, of Thornton, Colorado passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 after her battle with lupus and lung disease.

She is survived by her husband Robert J. Morelli, son Robert (Sheila) Morelli; daughters Lisa (Tony) Moya and Ann Morelli (Brian Coffman); grandchildren Morgan Morelli, Kendall (Marcus) Jessen, Payton (Alec) Condello, Nathan Moya, Kaylyn Moya, and Noah Moya; great-grandchildren Bentley Condello, Cooper Condello, Paisley Jessen, and Laila Ornelas; brothers Michael (Kathy) Gallegos, Max Gallegos, Lawrence (Jeri) Gallegos, Ray (Renee) Gallegos, and Joe (Cassandra) Gallegos; sister Annette Cano; numerous nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Esther Gallegos, and her brother Steve Gallegos.

Christine was a devoted Catholic woman dedicated to serving the Lord and her family. She was a "Prayer Warrior" who prayed unceasingly for those in need. She participated in the Adoration Chapel at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Christine found joy in making a loving and welcoming home for all her family and friends. She had a passion for gardening and having a cup of "Joe" and biscotti with her husband every morning on their patio.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 1st, at 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1:30pm. Please see below for directions and further details. You are invited to join the family for a Reception at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church from 3pm to 6pm following the burial.
