Christine Helen Tsiouvaras, 86, entered peacefully into eternal life at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, November 19th, 2020. Mom's courage and the legacy she created during her lifetime was a collective testament to the power of her love, even as she took her last breath. Christine was the center of our family, and her impact lives on through the many accomplishments of her grandchildren. We will always remember her loving devotion to family and friends, her sense of humor, her warm smile, and her outgoing, thoughtful nature. She made friends everywhere she went and showed a genuine interest in all people.
She was born in Casper, Wyoming, on December 9th, 1933, to Harry J. and Mary (Karnaros) Kapeles. She was a graduate of Natrona County High School, Casper, WY, in 1951. Christine married Nicholas V. Tsiouvaras on January 27th, 1957, and they had four children.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Harry J. and Mary (Karnaros) Kapeles, brothers, John H. Kapeles and Theodore H. Kapeles.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 64 years, Nicholas V. Tsiouvaras; and children: Theodora (Larry) Thompson, Bill (Ann), John (Sophia), and George (Nicole) and her beloved grandchildren: Niko W., Laura, Elizabeth, Samantha, Frank, Niko G., Eleni, and Athena Tsiouvaras. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews, Christine is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol (Theodore) Kapeles. Christine's love for her family was infinite and unconditional. Although we will miss her each day, her love will be in our hearts eternally. The world was indeed a better place with Christine's presence in it.
