Christopher Walker, 79, passed away January 26, 2017. He was raised in Berwyn, Illinois by his parents, Christopher and Esther (Hurst) Walker and raised his young family in Arizona. Chris met Ann in Arizona and later settled in Denver where they could easily visit the mountains they love so much. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Ann; daughter, Cassandra Feierstein; son, Chris Walker and his wife Andrea; grandchildren, Chris and Caleb Walker; sister, Alice Larken; nieces, Lisa Glosniak and Amy Gladu and her husband David; nephews Scott Severtson and his wife, Leah, Paul Severtson and Tony Severtson; grandnieces Rachael and Stephanie Gladu, Sloan Severtson and Ella Mae; and grandnephews Ryan Glosniak and his wife Carrie and Jason Glosniak and his wife, Melissa. Chris served in the Air Force as a Weather Observer during the Korea War. Chris' family was always his priority and he loved spending time with family and friends, and working in his yard. He will be greatly missed by all. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10:00am at Risen Christ Catholic Church, 3060 South Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO, 80222. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:15pm, Shelter ""C"". Please arrive to Staging Area ""C"" at, or prior to 12:00pm. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force, All Veterans Volunteer Rifle Team and the Honor Bell Foundation.
