Christy Sparrow Coffman

Christy was born on March 16, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away on May 31, 2011 in Lone Tree, Colorado where she resided. She was 57 years old. Christy is survived by her daughters Laurabeth and Catherine and their father Dennis; her father Walt Sparrow; brothers Craig and Brian Sparrow; sister-in-laws Sharon and Stacey; as well as three nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother Arleen. Christy spent most of her childhood in Greeley, Colorado before attending college. She graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins in 1976 and was a proud member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was also the owner of Brides Boutique, a successful local business, for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, philanthropy, spending time with her family and two dogs and collecting decorative glass. Christy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 10, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at Horan & McConaty, Rocky Mountain Memorial Park, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Road), in Aurora, Colorado 80014.
