Cindy Lou Lewis

Cindy Lou Lewis, of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away on April 10, 2018 after 71 years of life and a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents; Alfred and Helen West. Cindy is survived by her husband Russ Lewis; children, Jodi (Michael) McAtee, John “Buzz” (Judy) Pankoff IV, Shawn McConnell, Jason Lewis; Brianne Lewis; brother, Scott (Debbie) West; 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Cindy was a Colorado native. She was born and raised in Denver and graduated from Aurora High School and Trinidad Junior College. Cindy was a dedicated loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Cindy never met a stranger and brought humor, warmth, and beauty to all who knew her. She was a self-taught, multi-disciplined artist and was famed for hosting elaborate annual Halloween parties. A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will be held on April 20, 2018 at 10:00am at the Horan & McConaty Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, Colorado. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Cindy’s honor to Wellspring Community at WeAreWellspring.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
